====== About Scratch Areas ======

Users of the CIDAS system are provided with two work spaces, /scr/s1/cNNNNxxxxxx and /scr/s2/cNNNNxxxx (cNNNNxxxx is your CIDAS account name).
In these directories, you can place files you wish to temporarily store without being affected by the capacity limit of your home directory.
Please make use of these scratch areas when you wish to use a large amount of data.

Please note that data in the scratch area will be deleted every 4 months.
